Stephen E. Varckette, President and CEO of Andover Bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Sean Dockery to Executive Vice President, Chief Banking Officer effective January 1, 2025.

Mr. Dockery has been with Andover Bank since 2021 and has over 24 years of banking experience in numerous leadership roles. Sean has top-notch communication and leadership skills and is focused on talent development and growing brand recognition for Andover Bank. He has led the bank’s expansion in business banking and has focused on building a long-range strategy for growth in our markets. His leadership in the development of our Loan Production Office in Stow, Ohio has expanded the bank’s footprint and positively grown brand recognition.         

Mr. Dockery attended Kent State University and Cuyahoga Community College and currently resides in Rootstown, Ohio with Jeannie, his wife of 32 years. His community involvement includes participating as a board member of Community Action Council of Portage County since 2013. He has also graduated from both Leadership Portage County and the Ohio Bankers League Leadership Institute.
