Andover Bank is pleased to announce that several new team members have joined its rapidly expanding Commercial Banking Department. Four new additions were made to the commercial team this year.

Sean Dockery joined the Bank in February in the position of Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking. He brings over 20 years of experience to Andover and is tasked with the responsibility of leading the Commercial Banking group and expanding the Bank’s business banking capabilities. Sean’s extensive experience as an effective leader and skillset will better position Andover Bank as a relationship-driven, customer-centric leader in business banking.

Tim Birth joined the Bank’s Commercial Banking group in June in the role of Vice President, Commercial Team Lead. He brings over 15 years of banking experience to Andover Bank. He most recently led a group of wealth managers for PNC Bank. In Tim’s previous employment, he held roles as a private banker, branch manager, and business development officer.

Michael Picone also joined the team in June as the group’s Commercial Credit Analyst. He will be responsible for evaluating credit data and financial information on loan applications. A 2021 graduate of Kenyon College, Michael is excited to begin a career in commercial banking.

Eric Senor comes over to the group as an Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banker. Eric is making the shift within the Bank from his most recent role as Community Sales Manager of the Andover Banking Center. Eric is a long-time employee, having been with the Bank since 2001. He is eager for the challenge of this new role.

Steve Vennare is one of the original members of the Commercial Banking group, having joined the Bank in February 2015. Steve serves as Vice President, Commercial Banker and covers the Bank’s Western Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio markets.

Andover Bank continues to build out its long-term strategy for growth with a major focus on business banking and meeting the needs of local business owners.

“This is an exciting time for our organization. We believe there is a real need for our style of community banking in the business environment. We are strategically building our team to ensure we can do our part to foster business growth,” remarked Steve Varckette, President and CEO of Andover Bank. “Our business customers are relying on us more than ever to help them navigate the challenges of today’s business climate and our team is committed to being there for our local businesses.”
