Andover Bank announced today that it has appointed three new members to its Board of Directors: Andrea L. Morris, Dr. Trista S. Warren, and Patrick Groner, Jr.

“We are pleased to welcome Andrea, Trista, and Patrick as new independent directors to the Andover Bank board and especially value the diverse perspectives and expertise each of them brings,” said Steve Varckette, President and CEO of Andover Bank. “They join us at both a challenging and exciting time, as we continue to drive our long-range strategic growth forward and build deeper relationships with customers to fulfill our purpose of supporting the communities we serve. The addition of these directors complements our current directors' skills and experiences, and we are confident they will provide valuable leadership as we continue to execute our strategy and enhance value for all Andover Bank stakeholders. We look forward to their contributions and are excited to have them on board."

Tasked with guiding Andover Bank’s long-range strategic growth, the board regularly evaluates its composition to ensure it includes the appropriate skills, experience, and perspective necessary to align with its strategic direction. The board is comprised entirely of local business persons and community leaders from throughout the Bank’s footprint.

Andrea L. Morris is Vice President of Great Lakes Power, where she holds a position on the company’s Board of Directors. In addition, she is a member of the Perry Local Schools Business Advisory Council and former President of the Perry Alumni Association, where she currently serves as Treasurer. An Ohio native, Morris earned her Bachelor of Arts from the College of Wooster. Andrea and her husband, Greg, have three children and reside in North Perry Village.

Dr. Trista Warren

She holds a doctorate from Aspen University along with several other degrees in education and leadership.  Trista and her husband, Michael, have two children and reside in Madison, Ohio.

Patrick Groner Jr.

Patrick Groner, Jr. is the Broker/Owner of Pennington Lines Real Estate. He is a Pennsylvania native and Penn State Behrend graduate, holding a degree in Economics. He currently serves as a director for the Greater Erie Board of Realtors (GEBOR) and is president of the Crooked Creek Homeowners Association. He resides with his wife, Kelly, and their two children in Millcreek, Pennsylvania.

"Andover Bank is one of the nation’s  ‘Top-200 Community Banks’ with tremendous opportunities in front of it. We believe the new directors will be significant additions to the board,” said Martin Cole, Chairman of the Board. “This newly refreshed board, along with the Bank’s management team, are committed to achieving outstanding performance and guiding the evolution of the way the Bank does business – even amid the unique challenges the COVID-19 pandemic poses."
